GetSTDtested.com releases online series of contemporary STD prevention guides

GetSTDtested.com, an online provider of private STD testing services, published Beneath The Sheets – a free downloadable series of STD awareness and prevention booklets. Each “Beneath The Sheets” booklet uses contemporary design and plain language to help provide readers with a better understanding of a specific STD, how to prevent it, and when to seek STD testing and treatment.

“There is an abundance of STD prevention information out there, unfortunately, there’s a shortage of STD prevention information that really speaks to Millennials,” said Brandi Kurtyka, President of Pinpoint MD Consumer, the parent company of GetSTDtested.com. “We designed Beneath The Sheets to speak specifically to a Millennial audience.”

Millennials typically refers to the generation born between 1980-2000. They are currently the age group most affected by STD infections in the United States. For example, the CDC estimates that although young people between the ages of 15-24 are only ¼ of the sexually experienced population, they get nearly half of all new STDs.
