Gonorrhea Test
About Your Gonorrhea Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT)
This urine test is based on amplification of the DNA that is present in Gonorrhea. The urine test is simple and preferable to the conventional culture method that requires swabbing and is currently the standard that is widely used. This NAAT test is very accurate and can be done either on a urine specimen or a sample of body fluid from the potentially infected area. We use urine samples in our tests.
What kind of sample is required?
Our gonorrhea test requires a simple urine sample. Whether you are visiting a test center or using our At-Home Gonorrhea Test Kit , a quick and easy sample of urine is all we need to determine whether or not you have contracted gonorrhea.
How to prepare for your test?
Simply do not urinate for at least one hour prior to entering the testing center of your choosing.
When can I expect results from this test?
Gonorrhea test results are usually available in 2-3 business days. Some patients have received results in as quickly as 24 hours. After you purchase your test from us, you can choose to receive a phone call or email with your results.
