Talking to teen girls about STDs

One point that'll resonate with many of them is that STD's can make it difficult or impossible to have children when they're ready. Untreated chlamydia and gonorrhea can lead to pelvic infections that damage the ovaries, for example. Not to try and scare them so much as to make sure they understand the facts. The thing about chlamydia is that so often it goes undetected because there usually are no symptoms in females (some guys don't even know they have an infection).
