Default Telling someone after the fact

I have herpes and have had sex with someone a couple of times. I didn't tell them I have it and now feel bad and think I should. What do you say after you've already had sex with someone?

Cartman -

Did you talk to your partner and if you did, how did it go (and what did you say)? Sorry don't mean to be nosy but I just want to know how it worked out.

Thanks man!

Hi guys,

Thought I'd give you an update. Things went ok, she wasn't happy I waited until we had sex to have the talk but it didn't turn out to be a deal-breaker. We're still together, but man do I EVER wish I had the talk beforehand. Lesson learned...

She appreciated the fact I'm willing to go out of my way to help her. We're using condoms, of course, and I'm going to my clinic to see about taking one of the herpes meds everyday, 'cause I read somewhere on here that if you take the meds daily it can reduce the risk a partner will get it.

Anyway, that's where I am so we'll see what happens. Thanks for reading and responding.
