Default For Ramona: How are you doing?

Hey girl,

I've read your posts and noticed you haven't been here in awhile. Just that I'd like to hear from you. Obviously I've been thinking about you!

OMG you don't even know me but you're asking about me? That is so great of you! Thank you so much, and I really appreciate that, more than u know!

I have good and bad days, more bad at the moment but that's because this is all new and I'm really emotional. It's hard to face the fact I have HIV but I've learned that it isn't a death sentence, that with treatment I can have a pretty normal, long life. That was HUGE in getting me to a place that felt anything like safe and normal.

Thank you so much again for checking on me; you made me want to cry (but for a good reason this time)!

Thanks Erich, sorry for not responding sooner. I mean, I feel ok, just more emotional fallout than any medical issues so far. I am on my meds, and the clinic keeps hammering away I need to take them consistently, which I've been doing.

I'll try and stop by to update everyone more often but I'm actually doing ok!

Thanks again, love you guys!

Hi guys,

Haven't been here in awhile but wanted to check this thread. 'Mona, good to hear you're doing ok and it sounds like you're keeping up with everything just like you should. I'm so proud of you! Love to hear from you sometime.

Thanks! Not feeling that hot today, but I think it's just a chest cold and fever. Took some Tylenol, drinking lots of fluids and resting. The doctor told me not to worry that every little ache and pain is due to the HIV, and that my T-cell count is stable and not bad. I can't help but be a little paranoid, though, and think every hiccup is "something" big.

But enough about me, how are you guys doing? I need to check in on you, too!

Thank you so much for your concern. Sometimes I'll log in just to look at your previous comments, as it feels good to know someone asks about me.

Hey!

You still checking out the boards? Guess what, since we have nice weather and the weekend's here, I'm heading out to a movie this afternoon. Playing hooky from work, but they'll survive!

What's up with you? Sorry I haven't been here awhile but I do think about you!
