Default Syphilis

I have syphilis and am seriously pissed. How did this happen? I thought this was an "old" STD that wasn't a problem anymore.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out which partner I might have gotten this from and what I need to do with my new partner (I got tested before we had sex, so it's not from her and thank God I didn't expose her).

Appreciate any help, never been down this road before!

Dude, you are so not alone. I saw another post on here that talked about how syphilis is one STD that, after declining forever, is kind of making a comeback. I think women are experiencing greater infection rates with this STD, so maybe that's it.

I'm like you, though, in thinking of this as an "old school" STD. Apparently not!
