Hi everyone,

Thanks for having this site and for giving people a place to go for answers. I'm dating a wonderful woman who told me she has genital herpes. We haven't had sex yet but I can't see us going much longer without taking the plunge, so of course I want to know what all I should be doing.

Condoms are a given. I read a really good thread here about risk reduction, and they mentioned using Valtrex everyday to help protect partners. I don't think that's the drug my partner takes, so my question is if she takes whatever she has everyday, can that do anything to help me?
