Half of all men have HPV?

Did you see this? It's all over the Internet. Researchers studying HPV and men found that 1/2 of guys have that virus. Very few of them had any signs, symptoms, or ideas about it, either.

There really isn't an HPV test for men. It wouldn't be cost effective to test them since most male HPV cases are harmless and will clear up on their own. Unfortunately women do not have that luck. Rather than testing, I think men need to start getting the HPV vaccine--the burden of HPV prevention should not lie solely on the woman!
