Be careful with any purported treatment you get without a prescription. There is no medical cure for any viral infection, so something that claims to "stop outbreaks" or "eradicate the virus" are not to be believed. Save your money.
With oral herpes; that is, cold sores, there are over the counter meds that can relieve symptoms, so those are legit. Don't buy any of the Internet herpes cures or supplements, though.
Pretty much the same thing with HIV and HPV, as well as hepatitis. While there may be certain vitamins, minerals, or supplements people with these conditions might benefit from, just be wary and ask either your health care provider or a pharmacist first.
