Sites with the best info

Do you guys tend to trust government or private sites more for STD facts and figures, and info? There are so many out there, I don't know where to start or how to sort them out. I'm interested in STDs because I want to protect my health, but also because I'd like to be able to educate others, too, maybe like a peer educator.

I guess I'm curious if you have any recommendations. I like this site, of course, and a few others but sometimes I go to one site and the info there isn't the same as what I found elsewhere. Any tips?
