Hi Pendergast,
Good question. I have some information that may be helpful for you in selecting a test. Evidence-based research recommends the following STD screening for each sexual-orientation group:
1. Women w/ Male Partners: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, HIV antibody, and Syphilis (if at increased risk for Syphilis)
2. Men w/ Female Partners: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and HIV antibody (if not previously tested, or has recent risk factors for HIV)
3. Women w/ Female Partners: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, HIV antibody (Syphilis and HIV antibody if history of male partners or at increased risk)
4. Men w/ Male Partners: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, HIV antibody, and Hepatitis B (if not immunized for Hep B prior to onset of sexual activity)
I hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can help you with.
