Scared to test

Hi everyone,

I'm glad there's a place to talk about things like this. I've been tested for chlamydia and some other stuff not long ago, and would like my boyfriend to be tested too. He won't do it, says he's fine blah blah but I think he's scared of what he might find out...which makes me scared! Anyway just wondering if anyone else has been in something like this.

I had a partner who gave me gonorrhea years ago, and even with my diagnosis (which had to come from him because he was the only guy I'd been with at that time) he still wouldn't get tested! Just in denial. It ended our relationship because he wouldn't get checked or get treated, or at least he didn't do it so that I'd know.

First, look after yourself. If you have sex with him again, even with protection, you could be reinfected. He's GOT to get tested or, at the very least, treated. Will your doctor give you meds for your bf? Sometimes they do that?

So were you positive for anything? I'm assuming so, but is that why you want your partner to test too?
