Hi Julius,
You can get hep C through sexual contact. Traditionally this has been considered uncommon or even kinda rare, but more recently the STD world looks at sexual transmission of hep C as occurring more often than previously thought. Hep C is transmitted through blood, so sharing needles and needle sticks is most common (along with a baby born to a hep C-positive mother). It's also possible to get it through sharing personal objects like razors, but like sex, this is a less common way. Read about hep c at http://getstdtested.com/forum/hepati...is-c-faqs.html |

Good question! Hepatits C isn't really talked about a lot. I don't know much about it...thanks for the FAQ link King Leonides! Very informative!
But like any STD, you can protect yourself (and your partners) against Hepatitis C through safe sex practices such as mutual monogomy and using latex condoms properly. If you are worried that you may have contracted Hep C, testing is available at Get STD Tested - STD Tests & STD Testing Procedures Explained. |
