Basic Package: Expert Recommended
Looking for a general screening or regular STD checkup?
Our STD experts and the CDC recommend annually testing for the most prominent STDs. The STD tests included in the Basic Package include:
- Chlamydia Test
- Gonorrhea Test
- Genital Herpes Test
- HIV Test
STD Testing process
Our Basic Package allows you to test for the most common STDs through a single urine and blood sample. To get started, simply select a local testing facility closest to your home or office during the checkout process. With over 4,000+ locations in our network, there’s likely a facility nearby. No appointment is required and you’re able to test as early as today. Typically, you’ll be in and out within 15 minutes. Since each testing facility conducts a wide array of medical tests, no one will know why you’re there and what you’re getting tested for.
STD Results Process
STD test results are typically available within 1-5 business days via private, online portal or phone. Through our partnership with the American Social Health Association (ASHA), our certified STD counselors are available to help interpret STD test results and answer your most pressing questions.
STD Treatment Process
All STDs are better managed if diagnosed early, while some STDs are completely curable with a prescription written by our in-house physicians. If you test positive for chlamydia or gonorrhea, an antibiotic can cure infection within 7-10 days. If you test positive for Herpes II, medication can help alleviate symptoms of herpes outbreaks. If positive for HIV, our physicians are available to refer you to the best resources available based on your specific situation.
STD Window Periods
The window period for STDs, the time between exposure and when the test can accurately detect the specific STD, varies. Chlamydia and gonorrhea window periods are typically 3-7 days; herpes is typically 3-6 weeks; and HIV is 3-6 months.
STD Testing Privacy
Your privacy is the foundation of our business. STD test results will not appear on your insurance records, we will not sell your data, our communications are always discreet, and we offer anonymous cash payment options for those seeking complete privacy.
* ABOUT HIV TESTING
The HIV early detection test is a DNA-based test that can detect the virus as early as two weeks after possible exposure. However, our physician's recommend pairing the early detection test with the HIV Standard test, which is considered the "gold standard" in HIV screening. However, it may take up to 12 weeks for the HIV Standard test to provide accurate results. Repeat HIV testing is recommended for sexually active adults with multiple partners or concern of exposure.
