STD testing is a must for those living in Mississippi. As of recently, Mississippi has been dubbed the leader in STD prevalence in the U.S. 

Sex education—valuable information dedicated to preventing pregnancy and promoting STD testing—to young adults is waning.

Spring break—the collegiate rite of passage—is a time for post-midterm rest and relaxation. But while every co-ed hopes to return to campus fully refreshed and sun-kissed, some students do indeed come back with a more than they bargained—an STD.

STDs are generally associated with today’s younger MTV generation, but contrary to popular belief, a recent study revealed that the STD trichomoniasis is more prevalent in older women. Trichomoniasis, often referred to as “trich,” is more common in women over 40 compared to women in their 20s.
